Feeling worn down looking for solutions to those health concerns that seem to not “let you be”? There’s a lot of conflicting information out there, especially about what’s ‘natural’ for human beings to eat.

You, dear one, have landed here looking for some new perspective, hopeful for some approach or guidance.

I’m guessing you might feel that you drag through your days, with stress and tension as low-level constant ‘background noise.’ That your sleep is interrupted or just don’t feel rested when you wake up.

That little aches and pains have crept in and may have made you irritable with people at home that you love and care for. It can be enough to make you just want to push through or to make space in your calendar to yell out loud everyday to your car windshield or bedroom walls.

If you have disabilities, visible or invisible, or a chronic illness the added burden of a new diagnosis or mystery symptom doubles the exhaustion and emotional overwhelm of just maintaining some number of spoons each day.

I’m guessing you used to feel at least competent, if not capable and now feel distracted and despondent. It’s understandable you would feel discouraged.

It’s understandable to want some validation for those WEIRD SYMPTOMS that your doctor might not as take as seriously as you want them to. And to want to rely on medication less often or at lower doses than you’re apparently now requiring. It’s comprehensible to want to preserve the best health you’ve had in the past and stop the snowballing of new symptoms.

More than Just Relief, People Even Dare to Dream of

  • a strong but flexible physical body that repairs itself easily
  • immunity – resistance from catching illness or bouncing-back like you used to
  • a sunnier outlook on life or a return to a level-headed disposition
  • a sense of groundedness without inertia
  • a sense of lightness that’s not spacey
  • a sense of liveliness and inspiration for
    • solving problems,
    • enjoying relationships of all kinds,
  • a feeling of being at peace in one’s spirit, overall

When it comes to healing, it can be mighty fine to have three things:

  1. A base of knowledge
  2. A witness to “hold space”
  3. And a goal to aim for

And, it can be empowering to build on the good things you already know, even when –especially when! — you’re open to learning from a truly different view of the body, health and healing.

Something Innate in Human Beings Knows How to Self-Heal

When we fall down and scrape a knee we don’t take lessons in how to knit the skin back together, it just happens!

But the wound feels less painful, avoids infection and scabs smoother if a caregiver shows us how to clean and dress the scrape, directs us to rest, and feeds us something healing. Right?

If you have come to this website in search of care, witness and support you have found a healer influenced by mindbody medicines, primarily ayurvedic science, who looks at your entire be-ing. And encourages you to tap into (or discover) your own intuition.

If you decide we should work together, you’ll learn a lot about yourself through the lens of ayurveda and active meditation, for whole-person healing.

Time, Trust and Tested Information

I’ve created some information products (eBooks & audio files) to help share practical & accurate knowledge based on my twenty years’ living and training with many esteemed East Indian clinicians, half that time in a rather traditional, orthodox Ayurvedic school. Along the way I’ve also studied meditation and bodywork in, and have been mentored in additional holistic modalities

You can read more about me and find my usual schedule of availability on the About page, linked here

You are invited get to know me better by signing up for the mostly monthly eNewsletter I send.

It includes reminders of the Ayurveda tips I share with my patients in Consults, as well as my thoughts on living into this ancient wisdom. I often send out a meal recipe, too.

Feel free to email me about your specific questions or health concerns at

Victoria [at] Ayurveda-Healthcare [dot] com,  and I will respond within 48 hours.

Contagion Protocols

Consults happen over video conference software, with occasional, masked in-person exams. I provide a N95 mask at the door for you to wear while in our office. High-contact surfaces in my exam room are sanitized between patients.

Common-room areas of the suite (shared with a therapist) are sanitized each day, with adequate time and space between people to maintain a safe physical distance, which means extremely limited use of the central wait room.
